IN THIS LESSON
Learn how to handle double-entered, late, and/or missing competitors during the round.
Some of the competitors on your ballot may be double-entered. This means that they are competing in other events at the same time.
Competitors are encouraged to check in with their judges at the beginning of the round. They may let you know that they will either:
Return after competing in their other event, or
Ask to go first and leave for their other event
Please accommodate the double-entered competitors in either case.
If a competitor has not checked in by 10 minutes after the round start time, click the ‘No Show’ button next to the competitor’s name. This alerts the competitor’s coach, and the tournament staff can investigate.
The double-entered competitors may not be present at the start of the round. Allow the present competitors to perform first. After all the present competitors perform, they may be excused.
If a competitor is missing, please do not submit the ballot nor leave the video conferencing room until the scheduled round time is over. A double entered competitor may show up later in the round!
If a competitor does not show up until the end of round, submit the ballot with the competitor ranked as a No-Show.
